Supriya Misra

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at San Francisco State University. Currently, I am also a Faculty Scholar at the Health Equity Institute at San Francisco State University. My research focuses on mental health inequities among socially marginalized communities, particularly racial and ethnic minority groups. I uses mixed methods to understand the roles of racism, stigma, and trauma on the onset and experience of mental distress and to promote dignity and justice for those living with mental illness.
