Paige L. Prater is a PhD candidate studying sociology at UCSF. Her dissertation research examines pregnancy and perinatal healthcare experiences among Asian diasporic communities in the U.S., including use and access to culturally specific health practices. She has an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and previously worked in reproductive health policy and advocacy to state, national, and global levels.
