Michelle Luu

ARCH Intern

I am a first-year medical student at UCSF interested in becoming a primary care provider for underserved urban communities. I was born and raised in San Jose, CA and completed my bachelor’s at UC Berkeley. My passion for Asian-American health and language disparities was inspired by my experience growing up in a Vietnamese refugee family, as well as my advocacy work at Health Leads during college. My research interests include health promotion & disease prevention in vulnerable communities, community-based participatory research, and developing knowledge for health policy makers.
