I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2018 with a BA in Integrative Biology and minor in Global Public Health. Inspired by my public health courses, I sought after opportunities to further understand the intersection between public health and medicine. I have career interests in adolescent medicine, preventive medicine, and social epidemiology given my experiences working with and serving vulnerable youth. I am currently pursuing my Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology with a Certificate in Child, Youth, and Family Health at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and I intend to pursue medical school later down the road. My research interests are adolescent health, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), chronic disease epidemiology, community-based interventions, juvenile justice, life course epidemiology, mixed methods, multicultural health, social epidemiology, social needs care, and urban health.
