June Ng, MD, MPH is an obstetrician/gynecologist with specialty training in complex family planning at Maimonides Medical Center as well as an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York – Downstate. Dr. Ng’s research focuses on sexual and reproductive health in Asian American and Pacific Islander populations with a focus on health equity. Her research aims to improve access to contraception and abortion and improve disparities in maternal mortality by conducting research that is linguistically and culturally congruent with the populations she serves while establishing trust with historically overlooked or underserved communities. As a Chinese immigrant herself, she hopes to improve the sexual and reproductive health for AAPI women throughout their lifespan.
